Bread is the staff of life, and butter and jam make it that much better. Experience the art of making ones own bread, butter and jam or jelly, while learning the history of all three in the kitchen of the 1867 Victorian shipbuilding home now known as the Lefurgey Cultural Centre, 205 Prince Street, Summerside.
The programmer of the Wyatt Heritage Properties arts, heritage, and cultural complex will be your instructor for the three hour program. Participants will make bread, butter, and depending on the fruit in season, either jam or jelly. Participants will take away bread, butter, and a bottle of preserves.
